ABOVYAN GREGORY

Gregory Abovyan, a native Armenian who moved to Greece nearly 30 years ago, first started designing and making jewelry at the age of 18, exploring precious metals, different gems, textures and geometric forms.Gregory found his style through combining of traditional elements of Greek and Armenian arts of jewelry, modern trends and his own ideas. He makes original pieces that could be worn every day and on a special occasion.Gregory believes that every jewelry, if handcrafted, has a unique «soul», where a master creates a cradle for that soul, so that then it is ready to become a part of aura of a person who will wear that jewelry.Gregory has two young sons, and he hopes that they will become his successors in the future. The credo of Gregory is: originality, quality and devotion to a client’s choice.
